Overage Billing
Parselyze's PRO plan includes a flexible overage system that allows you to continue processing documents even after exceeding your monthly quota, without blocking your workflow.
Overage billing is only available for PRO plan subscribers.
FREE and STARTER plan users will be blocked when reaching their monthly quota and need to upgrade to continue processing.
How It Works
Page Quotas
- Page quotas reset on the 1st of each calendar month.
- Usage is counted per processed page.
Overage Calculation
Overage is calculated for the entire calendar month:
- Calculation period: 1st → last day of the month
- Overage amount: Any pages used beyond your monthly quota during that period
Overages are calculated at the end of the month and billed on the next invoice.
Pricing
Overage charges for PRO plan users are simple and transparent:
- Additional pages are billed in 100-page increments.
- Each additional block costs $3.
Examples
- 50 pages over quota: 1 block × $3 = $3
- 101 pages over quota: 2 blocks × $3 = $6
- 250 pages over quota: 3 blocks × $3 = $9
- 500 pages over quota: 5 blocks × $3 = $15
Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, overages (if any) are billed monthly.
Key Points
- PRO users will never be blocked from processing documents due to quota limits
- FREE and STARTER users will be blocked at their quota limit and must upgrade to continue
- You can view your overage history in your account dashboard
- All invoices include detailed descriptions of overage charges
Viewing Your Overage History
To see your past overages:
- Go to your Account page
- Navigate to the Subscription tab
- Scroll to Overage History
You'll see all monthly overages with:
- Period (month/year)
- Pages over quota
- Billing status
- Amount charged
